Virtual Museum: Alexander the Great
from Aigai to Ecumene
Only the infinite world of the World Wide Web is suitable to host the achievements of a spectacular historical figure as Alexander the Great.
The Virtual Museum comprises of five hours documentary and includes seven thematic sections, 304 exhibits emblematic of the Hellenistic world and 3,500 texts. All these constitute the collection of the digital museum that will present the time from the creation of the Macedonian kingdom to the modern studies of the life of Alexander the Great.
In addition, the museum aims to become a forum for discussion of scientists who study the Hellenistic period.
