Archaeological Museum of Pylos
Places are made of stories, and what magnificent stories Pylos can tell! Capital of King Nestor’s Mycenaean kingdom, the place where Athens defeated Sparta during the Peloponnesian War, theatre of the history-changing Battle of Navarino.
This exciting story is now presented in the impressive Pylos Old Castle which now houses the recently renovated museum, a small but condensed time-machine of a 4.000 years old story, supported by all necessary communication and museology tools that altogether make this story worth sharing with the world.
