Archaeological Museum of Pylos
From Mycenaean kings to the Battle of Navarino
The permanent exhibition “In search of Pylos” invites visitors to explore the long history of Western Pylia from the depths of prehistory to the Roman era. Polyptychon undertook the complete design and production of the project, including exhibition design, interactive applications, educational games, documentary content, and printed materials — forming a coherent narrative experience that celebrates the enduring heritage of Pylos. Conceived as a cultural complex where monuments, museums, and exhibitions coexist, the overall design highlights the cultural continuity and unity of Pylos. Set in an exceptional location overlooking the site of the historic Battle of Navarino, the space connects past and present in a seamless cultural landscape.
