A Crowdfunding Campaign for Traditional Crafts

Silk-scarves collaboration

We were selected by the Prefecture of Central Macedonia to lead a crowdfunding campaign as a tool to support the creative industry of rural communities. Our effort brought us to Soufli, Greece’s silk city, where centuries of silk-weaving tradition are woven into the identity of the place. Working closely with local communities and NGOs, we designed a collection of original silk scarves inspired by the flora and fauna of the Evros river region and the rich biodiversity of the nearby Dadia forest.
This project is a testament to what becomes possible when private companies, local communities, and civil society organisations come together around a shared purpose: to celebrate cultural heritage, keep traditional crafts alive, and generate real cultural and economic value for the places that need it most.
