A creative partnership in Tbilisi
March 14, 2017
A collaboration with the Georgian National Museum for an international research project brought us to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. A surprisingly attractive city with rich cultural heritage, a unique national culture and a strong literary tradition based on the Georgian language and alphabet, the country combines elements from a variety of cultures and traditions, such as old Georgian, Byzantine, Mongol and Persian.
Creative partnerships of this kind are essential as they promote research and international collaboration but also form a profound tool of applied cultural diplomacy.
